Deakin University was proud to support the Nelson Mandela Poster Exhibition as part of the Melbourne International Design Festival.As the major sponsor of the exhibition, Deakin brought a series of 95 posters, representing 95 years of Nelson Mandela’s life, to Melbourne in 2014,The series is a culmination of work, by international designers from more than 70 countries, and is a representation of everything that South Africa’s beloved former President stood for.

Melbourne is the first city in the world to host the exhibition since it was first shown in Capetown in 2013.

DFestival is the graduate exhibition for all third year Creative Arts majors at Deakin University. In 2013 we are showcasing 45 different projects from 248 students, in 7 disciplines - Animation, Dance, Drama, Film, Photography, Visual Arts and Visual Communication
