Alumni in Profile - Darcy
My career highlight to date is being invited to join the Australian Paralympic Team and be a part of the Media Team at the 2012 London Paralympic Games. I was a Multimedia Coordinator based in the Athletes Village, producing, shooting and editing content for the team’s Website, YouTube Channel and Social Media pages. The segments that we were producing were exclusive as there was extremely limited access to the media and camera crews in the Village.Read more about Darcy at http://www.deakin.edu.au/alumni/profiles/articles/darcy-bonser.php

Film Study Tours - 2012

Students had the opportunity to join the Film Study Tour to USA (LA and New York).

Students also had the unique opportunity to make a documentary film in another country - Kelabit Highlands Project, Sarawak (Borneo), Malaysia. This project worked alongside and contributed to the development of a proposed ‘museum’ for the Kelabit community in Bario. It documented the field school being run by the Cultural Heritage Centre for Asia and the Pacific.
